A Versatile Chemoenzymatic Nanoreactor that Mimics NAD(P)H Oxidase for the In Situ Regeneration of Cofactors

Herein, we report a multifunctional chemoenzymatic nanoreactor (NanoNOx) for the glucose-controlled regeneration of natural and artificial nicotinamide cofactors. NanoNOx are built glucose oxidase-polymer hybrids that assemble in presence an organometallic catalyst: hemin. The design hybrid is optimized to increase effectiveness directional channeling at low substrate concentration. Importantly, can be reutilized without affecting catalytic properties, show high stability organic solvents, effectively oxidize assorted enzyme Finally, was successfully coupled with NADH-dependent dehydrogenases one-pot reactions, using strategy based on sequential injection fuel, namely, glucose. Hence, this study describes first example nanomaterial able efficiently mimic NOx enzymes cooperative cascade reactions.
